Neither we had any technical expertise of making Cheese nor we had sound technology to start up our unit. We knew that we had to start from scratch with people with no previous experience. It has been a long haul with so many ups and downs for funding to build our Cheese processing plant. But with the strong commitment and determination of the team and support from few reliable sources, we started the operations few years before and ever since we are growing.
We were determined to go forward, even on our very small scale unit, we often had to improvise, which we did and continue to do because of our passion to learn. The myth that the people of our village had, that we are only the milk traders is broken when we started cheese making. Earlier, either we were selling milk or making paneer but now many people coming up in cheese making in and around the village. Its a Real Cheese Village.
Even with limited resources and lack of education, we have managed to create some employment opportunities for the localites of our village who now believes that cheese making is a passion and an art.
Although the pace of growth is not so quick but we are very fortunate to have received good support from some of the industry experts who appreciated our good thoughts and healthy spirit to work. I was pleasantly surprised at the support we got from them and the faith they have shown in us.
We aim to take forward the cheese production to the next level in India and produce many more varieties. Moreover, we hope to inspire other small producers to get into Cheese making, if we can do it, so can many others !!
AVAILABILITY
We started selling our products though a few outlets and now we are working on our brand's presence in the other parts of the county as well. We have our stock point with cold storage facility in South Delhi for the redistribution of products in other states.
